Amy Butler Birdie Sling Bag

My new hero is a ten year old seamstress named Neve.  This beautiful little girl has made two tops, a purse (or two), her Easter  dress, and curtains.  She is even taking orders from her mom’s friends.

I met Neve at The Fabric Shop in Springfield TN. It’s a friendly store with a great selection.  The owner, Donna, helped me put together every thing needed to make this Amy Butler Birdie Sling bag, and gave me a few tips to make the bag go together smoothly.

Donna offers sewing classes, workshops, sit-and-sew gatherings, and a wealth of advice on sewing, quilting, smocking,  and fabrics.  I can’t wait to go back to The Fabric Shop.  I hope Neve will be there!
